  1. Kia Ora Alexandra,

You’ve done an incredible job completing the challenge and converting it into a poem. What an ingenious way to present your ideas! Very original and clever. I particularly like your use of repetition to stress the topic of the poem. You have also chosen some amazing descriptive words to describe the BFG.

Have you ever read the BFG? Or any of Roald Dahl’s books? I think he is a marvellous author. My favourite of his works is ‘The Witches’ or ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’. If you like poems, ‘George’s Marvellous Medicine’ could be a great book for you to read over the summer. If you do read it, you’ll have to let me know what you think about it.

Perhaps when you link a photo credit, you could do so in a hyperlink next time. This would make the link a little bit neater for your blog. Follow these easy steps to create a hyperlink yourself..

I actually have four of Roald Dahl's book in my book case at the moment
Charlie and the chocolate factory, the witches, James and the giant peach and Charlie and the great glass elevator. You can probably tell I really like his books they are so amazing! Whenever I read one of his books I feel that i am taken to a different universe! I have read George's marvellous medicine and I think it is so funny.Thank you for the tip on photo crediting I was wondering how to do it.

    Thanks-Alex

    1. Kia Ora Alex,

Roald Dahl is an outstanding author. I absolutely adore him! I forgot he wrote ‘Charlie and the Glass Elevator’. Its an incredible novel, I particularly like the bit about aliens though I won’t go into too much detail in case you haven’t reached that bit yet!

Imagine living in a giant peach. That would be insane! Convenient if you get hungry though! I think I’d prefer a giant nectarine though, they’re my favourite fruit. What is yours?

Have you read any of the Narnia series? If you like Roald Dahl, you might really enjoy C.S. Lewis. He wrote ‘The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe’ which is the second book in a seven book series. It’s very clever!

I’m glad the tip helped. I know how frustrating it can be when you attach a link and it’s got so many numbers at the end.

      Mā te wā
